Cr_vs_cpr_hockey_107_small
A little late, but here is the recap of the game on the December 28 against Coon Rapids.  As the season goes on and I get to know the players better, the comments will get more creative.

Officially this game is a tie - as we don't keep score.

Recap is in no special order.  Just how I wrote them down during the game.

Our goalie #11 during this game had 20 saves for the game. He had 12/13 saves in the 1st period, he had a rolling puck that basically rolled right over him, bummer but a great shot from Coon Rapids. 6/7 saves in the 2nd period with a minute remaining Coon Rapids was able to finally get one past him.  A shut out in the 3rd period with 2 saves, we tired them out finally.  WOW!! I think he did a fabulous job in goal.  Thank you #11.

#10 - Great defense - keep up the good work #10
#16 - Knew this player from last year - I believe he has found his wheels this year - wow. Great job #16
#7 - Great forward, and did a great job of getting the puck out of our end and kept Coon Rapids from scoring a couple times. Way to go #7
#2 - Great defense - also did a great job of keeping the puck moving down to the other end. #2 rocks.
#14 - Constantly had the puck going in the right directions, but unable to get past their goalie.  Keep the pucks flying #14
#1 - Was our Star player for the game as he had a great couple chances and then was finially able to put the puck past their goalie - Way to go #1.
#4 - Great defense and great back up keeping the puck out of our zone.  Keep the puck going in the right direction #4.
#6 - Is the games Passing Champ - way to go #6.
#5 - Knew this player from last year also - What an improvement.  Way to go #5 you are passing, and moving the puck great this year. Keep up the good work.
#3 - I believe he has found his calling as being able to play any position we put him in.  Great game #3.
#12 - Great job of passing and getting the puck into their zone.  Good job #12
#8 - Great defense, way to get the puck out of our zone.  #8 was great.

#9 - We missed you this game.

Again - We can't thank the Parents, Coaches, and Players enough for all the hard work they put in during the season.  Thanks so much.  Keep up the good work.

Sincerely,
Heather Loeffler

Important information

Below you will see a link to the concession schedule.  If you have already signed up for you 5 hours.  For right now you are done but I have about 3 sets of parents who need to email me with what times they want - first email first choice on those final times people.

You can't add anything to this link that anyone else can see, SO PLEASE EMAIL ME so I can add it and it will show you scheduled.  It is really important that I get this filled by this weekend or the middle of next week at the latest.  If they don't get fill by you will be posting them to other parents on our team, and then to other teams - as I don't want to have to do them myself.

Also I have the team pictures - I will for sure have them at the rink this weekend.

Those of you who received an email from me I look forward to seeing you with a check on Saturday or Sunday.  All others - thank you so much for getting them to me already.

Again - a big thanks to our parents  for getting our kids to the rinks every weekend , and the coaching staff for all their great work.

As always any questions or comments please call me or email me

Sincerely,
Heather Loeffler

Thanks

I want to start off the season, by thanking all the parents for their hard work in getting the kids to practice and to all the skate times before the season started.

I also need to thanks all the coaches and assistant coaches and all the guys who helped during the skate program.  You helped make it fun for the kids and your dedication shows.  Thanks again.

I big thanks to the kids, for getting up early and getting thier parents going.  I know some weekends I needed an extra push also.

If anyone has any good pictures from the practices that they would like to share please email them to me and I will get them on the web site.

It is a hard job being a hockey parent and I think we have a great bunch again this year.

If at anytime during the season, you feel you need help getting your child to practices or games please email me and I will try to get transportation at least one way either to or from the rink.

I hope to have the concessions schedule soon, and I am looking for someone to help keep score of the shots on net and goals when we start our games.

The boys look good on the ice this last weekend, and I know my boy had a blast.

So keep your sticks on the ice and keep scoreing.

Sincerely,

Heather Loeffler
